 A
golden sunburst, the symbol of the Goddess Aedammair, glows like a drop
of molten gold on Silverthorn's left hip. Placed there by the
Elemmiiran Goddess of Light whilst the elf was in the Tauremorna
searching for her twin daughters and niece, Muirne, the mark has slowly
altered the raven-haired woman's physiology. Golden threads have grown
amongst the silver and black of her soul, her cells mutating to not
only absorb the chemical ingredients of sunlight, but to cause them to
actively crave it. The result has been that, amongst other things,
Silverthorn can now radiate light and heat she has absorbed from the
sun.
The most recent addition to the marks upon her body are the triple
moons of Nuuruhuine. These are located at the base of her spine. At the
centre is the circular full moon in the form of a white, opalescent
moonstone. One either side, their points facing outwards, are the
waxing and waning crescent moons. These are pure silver.
