*Personality: Drysi possesses a bright mind and great academic ability, but like many academics she is not always possessed of practical or social skills. Her shyness inhibits her in gatherings of large numbers of people she does not know well, although with people she is more comfortable with she will be far more open. She was notorious when younger for crashing into trees in raven form, mainly because of her tendency to get distracted by other things. She is capable of remarkable stubbornness on occasion. When she becomes engrossed in something she is doing, she can often completely lose track of the more mundane aspects of daily life such as the need to eat and sleep.

Magic: Drysi began training in the use of Badb Catha dark magic at the age of six. She has a particular affinity for fire, possessing the ability both to create and manipulate that element, as well as for earth. The latter affinity allows her to 'recharge her batteries' by drawing energy from the land.
Shape-shifting: Her Badb Catha bloodline gives her the ability to shift into raven form.
Academic Interests: Drysi has been well educated in a variety of subjects including astronomy, history, geography, foreign languages, natural sciences, music, art and politics. However, her particular interests lie within the topics of history and languages. Drysi is also a healer with an excellent grounding in a variety of different techiques and approaches.

Fighting Skills: Drysi is not known first and foremost for her skill as a warrior, although she has been trained in several kinds of weaponry from a very young age. She does have a particular talent for the quarterstaff though, in which she has been trained by her sister Fionna, and she was given her own pike during the story Fate's Quest. She was presented with a sword by Avery Dosek following their altercation in the Pit, which also resulted in the claw-like scars on her torso, and has begun training in its use both by Avery himself and by the Ravens and Orsha Une.
*Weapons Used: 1) Quarterstaff, six foot in length and made of ironwood; 2) Pike engraved with the symbol of a raven and made of metal, extends from a collapsed length of approximately one foot to a fully extended length of six foot (NB: this weapon responds solely to Drysi's touch and has been known to take more than one form, although Drysi has yet to work out exactly how it does this or even what metal it is made from); 3) Elven-style sword with a lightly curving blade made of dragonsteele with the symbol of House Razvancha engraved on the pommel. The hilt is bound with strips of brown leather. The scabbard and belt are made of brown leather and include a harness to carry it down her back.

*History: The daughter of ? and Arianne (Silverthorn) Badb Catha, Drysi has been brought up in ?. Following her parents’s divorce, Drysi withdrew into herself as she felt insecure and unsettled. The years that followed were marked by a 'one step forward, two steps back' series of improvements and set-backs, culminating in an argument with her stepmother that left Drysi with the perception that her stepmother hated her. The whole series of events have left their mark on Drysi; many of her achievements of that time and since - such as learning to heal, to use the quarterstaff and then the sword - were initiated as part of her personal aim to prove something to herself.
In the years immediately following her parents’s divorce, Drysi divided her time between her father’s home and the Blackthorn Keep on Aerdon where her mother now lives. However, increasingly, she was to be found mostly at Blackthorn Keep where she had taken up a role as one of the healers in the Keep infirmary.
Drysi first met Bryhon Datari during an Undall party. In time they became lovers and, eventually, bondmates.
Misc Information:
- Drysi’s soul takes the form of an Emerald Green mist with Black tendrils winding through it at the heart of which burns a flame, the core of her soul.
- When Drysi uses her dark magic it is black in colour, generally either tendrils or flames, and her eyes turn completely black with no white or iris showing.
- Drysi is very difficult to read by psi powers, a trait inherited from her mother. Her tendency to keep thoughts and emotions buried deep inside her, especially when upset, means she projects little or nothing that can be detected by psis, although this is not always deliberate.
- According to the Kin, she smells of old libraries, i.e. dusty books and scrolls and ink.
- Drysi is naturally right-handed, but because of her training with two-handed weapons such as the quarterstaff she is essentially ambidextrous.
- Drysi has a pet red draeder called Phish who was given to her by Shadow Silverleaf.
- Drysi's favourite food is shellfish, especially prawns.
