*Personality: Cool and enigmatic, Scathach rarely displays extreme emotion. She is said to talk with a shadow on her tongue, her statements often seeming more like riddles.
*Occupation: Chooser of the Slain, or Raven, associated with the Goddess Nuuruhuine
*Skills and Abilities: It is with the crone aspect of the three-fold Goddess that Scathach is most closely allied as her magical abilities delve into areas that many consider dark and unwholesome. Able to raise both the spirits and corpses of the dead, particularly those slain upon the field of battle, Scathach has an affinity with the dead and the undead. Whole armies can be raised at her command, to fight once more for the Goddess even after mortal death has claimed them. She is also capable of raising the spirits of the dead. It was the Goddess herself who named Scathach, and the 'Shadowy One' is all too apt a name for someone who can fade physically until she becomes no more substantial than a ghost.
*Weapons Used: Longsword, called Geamhradh Pòg (Winter's Kiss). This has a bone hilt and radiates an icy chill. NOTE: Anyone who touches this blade other than Scathach will freeze, possibly to death.

*History: Orphaned whilst she was an infant, Scathach does not remember her parents, having been raised by the Battle Goddess, Nuuruhuine. Her priestesses are known as the ‘Choosers of the Slain’ or her ‘Ravens’. Respected, even feared, the ‘Ravens’ are wielders of immense power and influence amongst the peoples of the Tauremorna. In the absence of a temporal ruler the ‘Ravens’, guided by Nuuruhuine, make many of the important decisions for the peoples of the Tauremorna. Like the Valkyries of Terran mythology, their purpose was seen by the Tauremornans as using magic to cast fetters on warriors and to choose the most heroic of those who had died in battle. Themselves associated with the ravens seen upon the battlefield, their companions are sometimes considered to be the packs of wolves that frequent the corpses of dead warriors. In truth, they are skilled warriors themselves, fearless and loyal only to their Goddess and each other.
Misc Information:
- Whilst it cannot be proven due to the mystery surrounding her birth, it is commonly believed that Scathach was born at Geamhradh. Children born on these festival, which celebrates the crone aspect of Nuuruhuine, are commonly held to be gifted with an dà shealladh, “The Two Sights” commonly known as “second sight,” or clairvoyance.
- The spoken language of the Tauremornan Elves is a bastardised version of the purer Elven spoken by the Elves of the Aarataure, heavily influenced by the Dark Elven language. The musical elven tongue, similar to Terran Irish, is now 'marred' by the harsh clicks and sibilant whispers of the dark elven language.
