Personality: Apparently easy-going and charming, Zorion is nonetheless hard to get to know on a deeper level. He keeps his thoughts, and his secrets, well concealed, deflecting unwanted interest with a smile and a laugh.

Skills and Abilities: In addition to his natural ability to form blades and spikes from his own scale in two-legger form, Zorion is able to use lightning or ice as a breath weapons. He is also gifted by his goddess and god with the Blacks’ equivalent of the Flame. This gift manifests itself in two ways, either lightning or ice, depending on his intentions and is cast from the hand.
Weapons Used: Zorion has been trained in both rapier and longsword, and is competent in both, however his many centuries away from the Silmetaurea has led to him adopting other weapons and techniques that he picked up on his travels. These include the butterfly knife, a folding pocket knife with two handles counter-rotating around the tang such that, when closed, the blade is concealed within grooves in the handles, and which can therefore be easily concealed.

Brief History: The youngest child of the first clutch, Zorion is the son of Zephram Kanone, head of one of the Houses of the Silver Nation, and his mate, Luada. The 'Black Sheep' of the family, he was disowned several centuries ago and his name is never mentioned by other members of the House. The precise nature of his 'crime' was concealed by the other Kanones and it is something that was a source of much speculation at first amongst the other Silver Houses, none of whom were able to find out the truth. His absence had been so long, however, that his existence had been forgotten by many and the gossip had died for lack of fuel.
It was, therefore, a shock for many people who he reappeared at Blackthorn Keep and volunteered to join the Silver Guard. Although there was suspicion in some quarters as to his motives, his offer was accepted and he was assigned to Elandriil Datari's Wing at the rank of Sargtlin. If pushed for a reason as to why he joined up, he usually says simply that he was tired of drifting.
He was once in love with Arda, twin sister of Casiir Ithasuir, but circumstances conspired against them. Their families did not approve of the match, she was threatened with an arranged union to another, and both ultimately ended up in exile - and separated. It was not until much, much later that they eventually found one another again.
During the war (Crucible of the Storm), Zorion was found to be a latent Storm Rider and volunteered to be Broken.
Other Information:
- His heart and organs are in a reverse position from Humans and other humanoids, all Aerdon Dragons having a heart located on the RIGHT side of their body. All single organs are also located on the reverse side.
- As a Broken Storm Rider, Zorion's soul appears as an endless pillar of light and fire. It is silver and sapphire blue in colour.
- As a Broken StormRider, it is impossible to drain his life force.
- When 'triggered' into a 'Storm Ride' his eyes will fully haze/frost over, but still retain the phosphorescent glow in the irises. They appear an icy shade of very pale blue.
- When 'triggered' he can meld lightning and ice together into a much stronger force than using them independently.
