*History: The eldest son of Lord Iestyn Jager and his wife, Cecilia, Rafe was born and brought up at Castle Jager in the Rualdnahm. As is usual for boys of his rank, Rafe was sent at the age of seven to be a page in the household of another Lord. In his case this was Lord Lucas Falkenrath. He remained there until the age of eighteen, whereupon he returned to Castle Jager in order to concentrate on learning what he needed to know about the estate.
Rafe became Lord Jager at the age of thirty-six following his father's death during a Dyre Wolf attack. The following year he married Una Schmidt and set about securing the continuation of the Jager lineage.
