*Skills and Abilities: As the younger son of the current Aran (King) of the Aarataure, Nechtan has been brought up as befits a Lord of the Aarataure. He has been educated in subjects such as art, literature, history and etiquette, although he prefers more active pursuits such as horse-riding and swordsmanship. Like many Aarataureans, his magic is elemental in nature and is inclined towards air magics. He can manipulate the air and, to some extent, local weather systems. He can also create breezes or winds.

*History: The youngest son of Jared Windsinger and Aine Helinyetille, Nechtan has been brought up exclusively within the bounds of the Aarataure. His mother's death in a horse-riding accident when he was only one year old was obviously a difficult thing to deal with for all the family, but his memories of his mother are so slight that it is hard for him to feel too upset about the loss of someone whom he barely remembers. He is very fond of his father's second wife, Danielle.
At the age of twenty eight years old, he was proclaimed Lord Ancalima (Turning the Page), resurrecting the Ancalima lineage which had fallen into abeyance following the death of his great-grandfather, Ohtar Ancalima.
Misc Information:
- Nechtan's soul is leaf green in colour and in its ground state will often appear to be a mist in form. At the heart of this burns a flame that is the core of the individual's soul.
- Like all Aarataureans, Nechtan's native spoken dialect is a musical tongue, not dissimilar in sound to Terran Irish, and this is reflected in his accent when speaking Common or other languages.
