Brief History: Gabriel is one of the Black Guard, a faction of Callan’s army that is composed of 15 Flights of pure Black Dragons. Each flight consists of several Wings of dragons and make up a group that has been fanatically loyal to Callan Blackthorn for thousands of years. The Black Guard is loyal to Callan only, and still address him as Araxmarr or by his full draconic name. Blood-bonded to Araxmarr since the age of 3401, he is Marked on his right shoulder blade with the Blackthorn Crest, the ring of black thorns with the rampant dragon in the centre. Following the death of Altorian Ashka (The Seed of Wrath), Gabriel was promoted from his previous rank of Lieutenant to that of Captain (Winds of Change).
Other Information
- His heart and organs are in a reverse position from Humans and other humanoids, all Aerdon Dragons have a heart located on the RIGHT side of their body, and all single organs are also located on the reverse side.
- His soul is black and aquamarine blue.
- One of his few possessions with any particular personal value to him is an ironwood chest bound with dragonsteele that he keeps in his quarters in the Barracks. This originally belonged to his grandfather, Vorn Silinrul. In it can be found, amongst other things, a leather pouch containing Gabriel's hunting trophies, usually a tooth or claw from those he has killed.
