Slowly the couple waltzed around the shaded corner of the Gardens,
silent, as for once they let the warriors they were slide to the back
of their awareness. Instead there was only male and female, light and
darkness, Silver and Black. Two halves of a whole.
Dark brown eyes remained locked on black emerald, caught in the
shifting depths of his gaze. The hand on her hip seemed hot enough to
brand Erin's skin, burning through the silk of her gown as if it wasn't
even there. Her own rested on Areq's shoulder, the fingers of their
other hands entwined. The dark-haired woman could barely breathe,
whatever spell that filled the night air holding her captive. The only
sounds that could were the rustle of the nocturnal insects and the soft
swish of silk against skin as the Black's gown swirled about her legs.
The other guests might have been a million miles away for all they
impinged on her awareness.
Areq was fully aware of Gabriel's disdainful stare their way and for a
second, he held the Black's stare over Erinya's shoulder unflinchingly.
A brief stiffening of his spine was the only thing that betrayed a
flicker of Rage in the Silver. He had the oddest desire to growl out 'Mine' at
the Lieutenant and quickly fought the urge down, but not before the
word slipped out and carried faintly to the closest person to
him...Erinya.
Intensely dark eyes flicked back to Erinya's clear brown, yet no trace
of apology resided in his emerald eyes. At least for the moment, she
was his, and he was unashamed that she knew it.
That single word had brought Erin's head up like a startled deer. Her
breath caught at the look in Areq's eyes. What remained of the rational
part of her brain was telling her she ought to object to the
possessiveness in the Silver Captain's voice. The irrational part was
too busy dealing with the flood of heat that raced through her veins to
listen to it.
Slim fingers curled into the sun-bleached hair at the nape of his neck
as she rose up on tiptoe and whispered against his lips, "prove it."
In response, Areq felt the world seem to slide out from beneath him, a
longing so intense and agonizing flooded his soul as his mouth covered
hers and their dancing suddenly paused. A raging storm of fire and ice
coursed through him mixed with all he had become in a few short years,
and perhaps his sudden trust was spawned of too much to drink too
quickly, but within him, a chasm yawned open to reveal a misted cloud
of sparkling silver and verdant greens tinged with a darkness of
learning too quickly that life, while seemingly going on forever, could
be snuffed out in seconds. It wasn't an attempt to bind her soul to
him, but an offering of sorts.
"Then look for yourself if you doubt it."
Memories of joy and laughter spiraled out as he slowly pulled her even
closer and resumed their swaying dance. Sorrow and loss, blood and fear
swept through his soul, colouring the silver with blood red crimson and
shards of black, and with the painful reliving of everything that made
him who he was, the Silver Captain lowered his head and pressed his
temple to her warm hair and left the door to his soul standing wide
open.
And through that door, was the thread of desire, of a love so deep and
so carefully concealed under a mask of hate and Rage, the other Black
would have to look to find it.
But it was there...all she had to do was seek it.
Whatever Erinya had expected in response, it certainly wasn't this.
Spellbound, the dark-haired woman let her hands slide down his spine,
wrapping them about his waist. Dark lashes fluttered shut over deep
brown eyes as she sighed softly, letting herself relax against him.
"Areq..."
Her touch on the silver and greens of his soul was tentative, uncertain.
"I didn't mean..."
She stopped, uncertain what she did mean. She certainly hadn't meant
for him to make himself this vulnerable to her and she was oddly
touched. The baptism of fire he had endured were all too clear from the
scarred areas of his spirit.
Slowly, not quite sure even why she was doing this, the Black let part
of the walls that protected her down to allow the black of her soul to
reach out, the garnet red that threaded it glowing like jewels within.
Areq couldn't have explained why he'd done what he'd done if he'd
wanted to. 'Proving it' he could do in so many ways, all of them
physical, some with violence if he had to, still other ways with
passion and the desires of the flesh, but instead, he'd taken another
path.
Baptism by fire...aye. That's what had happened to him. He'd been
raised in a life of comfort, the only thing physical he'd been expected
to do was the training offered the sons of the noble Houses. Parties
and play laced with veiled lust and mild political intrigue had been
the most dangerous thing he done...and he'd dreamed of becoming a hero.
Not the bloodied, battered, broken person who was forced to carry on
because their will to live required it, the person a true hero was, but
a glorified play boy. He'd been sadly mistaken in his definition of a
champion and his romantic dreams of becoming a vaunted war-hero had
been plunged into a cauldron of Flame and Chaos, and there, when he'd
been able to breathe again, among the true horror of it all, he'd found
something far different than what he'd ever expected.
Keser Datari could strip him of titles, land and noble rights, but he
could not take from Areq the scars, the pain, the agony that had only
made him stronger, had forged a warrior, not a noble. He'd not become a
hero at all, but a trained killer, a guardian, a creature of the Storm,
a Captain in the Emperor's elite Guard.
Rigid, silver armour slid away, leaving him in a simple, silvery grey,
sleevless tunic with the rising eagles and green leaves worked into the
hems. Arms made strong, defined by endless hours of handling weapons
and scarred by battles both with Erinya herself and nameless, faceless
troops bearing the standard of Nargus, tightened gently around her as
his eyes squeezed shut and he felt a sudden choking sensation that
forced him to swallow or suffocate.
Within, his soul paused, seemed to return the curious, tender look, and
the fire and fury, the beauty and agony of all that was Erinya Dhaunae
nearly brought him to his knees with sudden awe and understanding.
"Perhaps you are not mine..." He managed to Send softly as a
tenative tendril of silvery green laced with deep crimson mingled with
velvety black and glittering garnet, "perhaps, instead, I am yours. It is your right to choose."
Barely aware of the fact that they had stopped dancing, so rapt was
she, Erin felt a shiver run down her spine. The gentle embrace might
have been dragonsteele chains so securely did it bind her that she
could not even think of moving. The dark-haired woman could not
remember the last time she had let down the walls sufficiently to let
anyone else touch her soul and the tentative caress was enough to shake
the foundations of her world.
Feeling as if she was drowning, the Black clung tightly to Areq,
wondering if she would ever be able to regain her bearings in a
landscape in which all the landmarks seemed to have shifted without her
noticing. When had the Silver become so important to her? She couldn't
say. She wasn't even sure what it was that she did feel. What every
instinct clamoured for was something that went against everything she
had fought to hard to become, and yet she could no more deny them than
stop the world from turning.
"Then I would choose you."
The sending was little more than a whisper of sound.
Through a fog of awe-stricken wonder, Areq's senses stirred even as he
lowered his mouth to meet hers in a slow, deep kiss that could rapidly
turn to something far less than tender.
"Would you? Would you choose me? The arrogant Silver with a knack for pushing every. single. button. you have?"
Strong fingers that had been skimming lightly across the deep garnet
silk of her dress slipped to the outer curve of her hips, within, his
soul writhed with the passion that was coursing through him, the desire
to make her his this very night, but also the fears and doubts that
gnawed at the core of his being...and at the risk of causing outrage,
asked a question he wanted the answers to now, not a sev'night from
this evening when the raging emotions spurred by her Cycle were fading.
"Would you? Of your own free will? and not because of the Elan?"
The warmth of Areq's hand burnt through the fragile fabric of her gown,
further fuelling the flames that burned so close to the surface at this
stage in her cycle. Biting back a faint moan, Erin dragged her mouth
away from his, fighting for both breath and cool-headed sanity. She
could hardly fault the Silver for questioning her response, not when
she could sense the shadows of the doubts that plagued his soul as
their spirits wound togther so cautiously.
"I..."
She took a deep breath and let more of the walls fall away, letting him see the truth of her words.
"Remember the gossip, Areq. Some of it at least is accurate. I have
never been flown, not once. Even if that meant going completely crazy
locked up in my room. I have never once offered anyone what I just
offered you."
Dark eyes lifted to meet stormy black emerald. The next words were the
hardest of all to say. The ebony-haired woman had locked herself away
so thoroughly from emotional contact with others. If you didn't care
about someone they couldn't hurt you, couldn't betray you. To expose
herself to that possibility again took all of her courage and then some.
Unconsciously her chin lifted, the usual arrogant defiance bolstering
her although tension struck her shoulders tight as if she was bracing
herself for a blow. "You
are more important to me than I would like to admit sometimes. I can
hardly deny that I'm attracted to you, and by Flame and Chaos. If you
want a rational answer will you STOP that." She grabbed hold of his
hand and held it still against her hip. "It's more than that. It's
always been more than that. Why the hell do you think I fought it so
hard?"
"If I said I thought you fought it so hard was because I'm so damn
irresistible, roguishly charming and finely fashioned, would that start
a brawl?" He lifted his head abruptly and let a teasing, crooked grin
tug at his lips, the old arrogance that had always set Erinya off
danced across his face only to be replaced quickly with a serious
expression, one he'd worn far too much of late, "Why..." his fingers
covered hers where they'd halted his sensual wanderints and began
sliding her own palms across her hips and then the flat of her adbomen,
"why don't we take this conversation somewhere else? Somewhere where
neither of us have relatives breathing down the backs of our necks?"
Encouraged by her tentative exploration of his soul that reflected her
words, his own tangled a little deeper into her essence.
There was so much he wanted to tell her, so many words that he simply
could not...would not...utter here, only to have gossips and family
members grind them under for it.
He wanted to tell her he loved her, that he would gladly become hers,
that he would guard her back when she could not. It was time to learn
the full truth...or untruth...of many, many rumors.
"My room or yours?" was his soft murmur as he began nipping at the
veins in her throat, biting with soft pressure that left him wanting to
taste far more of her than what was generally acceptable in company not
of the Keep.
Defiance melted away as Areq's fingers guided her own over her
silk-clad form. Erin's head tilted, a soft moan escaping her lips as he
nipped at her throat. Dark lashes dropped to partially shield her deep
brown eyes, heat racing through her veins to pool low in her body. She
couldn't seem to breathe, let alone think. "Mine..." she managed to get
out, unable to resist leaning into him just a little. The warm strength
of the Silver was something she was rapidly losing the will to resist.
The dark-haired woman knew he was right though. Whatever this was...
wherever they were going... it needed to be something they had worked
out for themselves.
"Yours? I like that...the idea of being lead to your quarters." Areq
growled softly as he lifted his head, "So, what are we waiting for?
Lets throw some grist into the rumour mill..." A shimmering portal
opened behind Erinya, one of Areq's own doings and the Silver began
pushing the Black through. It snapped shut just as her back was shoved
up against the door to her quarters in an empty corridor far beneath
the Pit.
Erin's back hit the door to her chamber as the portal snapped shut
behind them. The sounds of the Gardens were cut off abruptly, leaving
only the relative quiet of the Barracks. Those Guards who were around
were otherwise occupied in their own rooms and so there was no one to
observe the arrival of the two dragons.
Winding a slim-fingered hand into Areq's sun-bleached hair, the Black
brought his head up and kissed him hard. "You'd think the rumour mill
would have enough to keep it going without any contributions from us"
she managed to gasp out. Her free hand fumbled with the door catch,
almost falling backwards as the door swung open abruptly.
Areq's arm tightened reflexively around her waist as Erinya fell back
with the sudden give of the door. Dark emerald eyes clouded with a haze
of desire never looked around the room, his sole focus was the Black
female in his arms.
His heel caught the door and swung it shut with a bang, then his
fingers reached behind him and threw the bolt home. Now quite alone
with her, Areq drew in a deep breath and felt his senses reel. Not only
was his soul still tangled with hers, a feeling he'd never experienced
before, but the scent of her....
Gods...a heavy pool of pulsing want had been gathering all night, from
the first time he'd seen her this eve. Being with her one time would
have never been enough, could never have been enough, he could admit
that now.
“To be honest? I'm not sure I care about the rumour mill anymore. Right
now, I can't think beyond you." His fingers slid from her back to her
hips, then to her thighs. The richly coloured fabric of her dress slid
across the skin he knew to be the colour of pale ivory and was warm
beneath the touch of his hands.
Unable to resist feeling skin on skin, Areq's hands gathered the fabric
up and began pulling it slowly upwards as he lowered his head and began
nuzzling, then biting at her throat.
Erin's eyes glazed over slightly, a soft sound escaping her lips as her
head fell back exposing the line of her throat to his mouth. Silk slid
sensuously over alabaster curves as Areq's hands pulled it upwards, the
sensation sending a warm shiver down her spine.
"I'm not even sure I can think at all, let alone about the rumour mill"
the dark-haired woman gasped out, her voice little more than a husky
whisper. Her hands fanned out over the fair-haired man's chest as she
pressed herself against him, skimming his ribcage and then down over
his hips.
"Then let's say to hell with thinking and just..." his sentence was
never completed, her hands on his chest felt like branding irons and
the false tunic he'd been wearing faded away, leaving her touching bare
skin. A rippling shudder went through him with the sudden feel of her
fingers sliding lower, and in the wake of her touch, the black trousers
melted away as well and left him completely bare.
"Gods, you’re amazing..." he gasped out softly and pushed her dress up
further, until the skirt was rutched up around her waist. A growl of
frustration rolled out of him followed by a rip of silk, his fingers
had slid up her back, talons had unsheathed, hooked the edge of the
dress, and split it off her body, leaving it to fall in a billow of
garnet silk at her feet.
"Now that..." He drew in a deep breath and felt himself go even more
rigid, painfully so, as the heat of her begged him to be buried deep
within. He swallowed, fought another shudder and looked down her pale
body, drank in every scar, every curve of well defined muscle, then
languidly brought his clouded dark eyes back to hers, "is beautiful."
The sudden violence of the Silver's actions sent heat flooding through
Erin's system, pooling low in her body as the silk whispered along her
skin to land at her feet. Her dark eyes seemed to glow from within as
they ran down over Areq's naked form. "I could always say the same" she
murmured, flexing her hand so that the nails dug lightly into his hip.
He might have been attractive before he came to the Keep, but in her
eyes he was only more so now. The scars he had gained just made him
seem more interesting.
Fingers splayed out, moving slowly across his abdomen as if she would
learn the feel of every muscle by touch alone. He felt so good beneath
her hands, warm, strong, hard. A wicked smile curved her lips as her
fingers slid downwards, curling around the evidence of his arousal.
Darkly glowing, black-emerald eyes almost vanished under hooded
eyelids, with her touch. It wasn't the hungry, had too much to drink
touch; THIS was what he longed to feel from her, the passionate touch
of two people that wanted each other too badly to ever say it in words.
It was the touch of two people who, in the absence of being able to
express that passion, would gladly rip into each other, just to feel
the touch, to know they were alive.
"I'll take enjoying me naked and thinking I'm beautiful over wanting me
dead any day," his body jolted with the feel of her touching him,
"though, at your mercy is fine too," he rasped out, then groaned as her
fingers curved tighter around him, a warm glove of touch and sensation
that left him unable to talk further. His only further response was to
thrust into her palm as his teeth closed around her throat.
"I like having you at my mercy" she managed to say, before a soft moan
choked her words. The feel of his teeth sinking into her throat sent
desire shuddering through her. Convulsively, her fingers tightened
slightly around him as her legs almost gave way. His body was so very
warm against hers as she pressed herself against him, the need to feel
his skin touching hers an almost physical ache.
Patches of obsidian scales flowed across her skin, appearing and
disappearing with no apparent pattern. Onyx black wings flared from
between her shoulder blades. Perhaps at any other time it might have
been easier to think, but now, at this point in the Irdan Elan, Erin
was drowning in sheer sensation.
"Then at your mercy I'll stay," Areq choked out as her grip
spasmed around him. His mouth left her throat, roamed lower to the rise
of one pale breast. His fingers slid down the small of her back, curved
around her buttocks and dug into the firm flesh there as his mouth
worked lower and seized one pink nipple between his teeth and lightly
bit.
Rough suction and slow strokes of his tongue quickly replaced the feel
of his teeth as he ground forward in a slow, smooth rhythm that left
his senses on fire from the friction of her palm. He drew in a deep
breath of her scent once more, she was all he could see, smell, think
of...she was the focus of his attention.
A choked whimper of need caught in Erin's throat as her head fell back,
her nipples hardening beneath the caress of Areq's tongue. Desire raged
through her body, stealing her breath and making her feel as if her
very soul was aflame.
The fingers of her free hand speared into his sun-bleached hair,
tightening as she dragged his head up to meet eyes that glowed with
hunger. Their lips met in a kiss made fierce by need, before she tore
them away to trail biting kisses down his throat. The dark-haired
woman's teeth grazed over the pulse that beat at the base of his throat
and then down his chest, tasting him with her tongue.
The low, growling groan that rumbled out of him as her teeth scraped
down his bare flesh was almost a warning sound when her fingers
released him and threaded into his hair and tugged his head back to
expose his throat. His own fingers raked and clawed over her back,
sometimes across hard scale, sometimes across pale skin, but they found
their way to her shoulder blades, and the wings that sprouted from
there. They skimmed across powerful muscle and delicate skin, traced a
line to the delicate juncture where the wings became the flesh of her
back.
A jolting shudder rocked through him as he thrust his hips mindlessly
forward and felt the heat of her pressed against him. It was more than
he could stand, not being plunged within her, to hear her cry out,
scream his name or he hers. Another growl rolled out of him as his
chest heaved with the deep breath and Areq felt his control slide away,
snuffed out by the fire that pulsed through him.
Beyond thinking...and he'd never held back anything for fear of hurting
her...Areq pulled away from Erinya, shoved her roughly against the wall
and slowly began to advance on her, his eyes glowing with more
intensity than they ever had before. Silver wings spread from his back
and with every step, he became less half-elven and far more Kin.
"What do you want from me?" He rasped out as fine, silver scales
feathered down his neck and arrowed down his abdomen and curved around
his inner thighs, "I want to hear it..." Areq's expression was a
mixture of many things, all-consuming lust being the primary one.
Erin's breath came in short, shallow gasps as her gaze met his,
skimming down over his body as he advanced on her. Her hands ached to
run over the silver scale shimmering down his torso as it rippled over
his skin. She couldn't seem to think, couldn't seem to breathe, could
only brace herself against the wall to stop herself from sliding
downwards... and want.
Dragging her eyes upwards once more, the dark-haired woman replied huskily, "Fly me."
Areq's own breathing echoed Erinya's, it came in starts and stops, then
slowed as he paused only inches from being pressed between the apex of
her thighs once more. The heat that radiated from her was irresistible
and the intoxicating, ensnaring scent of her had only grown stronger.
His fingers crept across her breast, teased the nipple then trailed to
the back of her skull. A handful of ebony locks was twisted around his
hand as he studied her face with frightening intensity. Completely
overwhelmed and operating on instinct alone, Areq's eyes flicked to the
open doors to her ledge and the driving rain beyond. Like so many in
the Keep, few barred the windows and doors this time of year,
especially when rain was expected.
"Then," He drew in a ragged breath and slowly, deliberately began
drawing his nose down the line of her throat beginning at her ear and
ending once more at her breast, "I suggest you find your legs," He bit
down on her throat hard enough to feel the throbbing vein there and his
fingers slid between her thighs, "and run."
A choked sound caught in Erinya's throat. There was part of her that
just wanted to drag him close and demand that he take her... now, but
that wasn't what she needed. The lust that made her blood race through
her veins in a heated flood was almost overwhelming, crashing through
all usual controls and boundaries. Instincts that were purely primitive
had taken control and, like a runaway train, were racing away from her.
"I don't run from anything or anyone" the dark haired woman said huskily, "but if you want me you'll have to catch me first."
Pushing him away, she leapt for the ledge. Obsidian scales were
rippling out over her alabaster flesh even before the rain struck her.
Black wings caught the air, soaring upwards into the storm. The crash
of lightning and rumble of thunder seemed to echo the pounding beat of
her heart as she left the lights of her quarters far below.
With slow deliberation, Areq stalked out into the pouring rain behind
her and watched Erinya's true form launch out into the inky darkness.
The pressure that pooled heavily in his groin only grew as he watched
her wings catch and spread wide and her lithe body vanish into the
night sky.
"Catch you? I think I already have, Erinya Dhaunae." The blonde,
seemingly half-elf took a running leap off the ledge. He free fell for
countless seconds, then silver wings snapped into the heavy summer
rain. A jag of lightning revealed a gleaming tail, swaying with his
screaming dive. Before he collided with the rocks below, Areq Datari
pulled his long body into an upward roll, his eyes fell immediately on
the thermal pattern of Erinya, far above him, almost within the roiling
cloudbank.
The rippling pattern of body heat changed every second with the cooling
rain falling on her scales, yet one pattern remained the same. Between
her hindquarters, the heat of her flickered the colour of smouldering
coals. In seconds, Areq swept under her, entwined his tail around her
throat and his neck snaked between her hind legs.
Teasing, tasting flicks of his long, forked tongue passed across her
flesh, pressed into the protective folds and sought the same trigger of
release all females had, in either form.
The Black's wing beat stuttered, her breath catching as his tongue
pressed into her. Pleasure shuddered through her, the coil of need
winding ever tighter.
"Areq..."
Obsidian scales pressed against silver, her cheek rubbing against the
warmth of his flank before her head turned to graze dagger-like teeth
over the scaled hide. A long black tail wound around him, trailing down
his underbelly. The feel of him only added to her desire. She could
feel him, smell him, taste him...
Without warning, her control shattered. A high, almost keening cry tore
from her throat as her head flung back, body shuddering as release
crashed through her.
Areq's attentions continued as he felt her body begin to pulse with the
rhythmic contractions that left her unable to do more than writhe
against him. Intentionally, he teased her even more, seeking to drive
her to another peak, then yet another violent release. The entwined
pair were dropping through the rain, a dizzying fall from high above
the Keep, but hitting the ground was the last thing on Areq's mind.
Leaving Erinya screaming with pleasure was his only concern at the
moment.
He himself wasn't sure how long he could continue the teasing, the feel
of her jaw stroking along his flanks and her tail coiling beneath him
left him wanting nothing more than to twine his neck with hers, and
sink deep within her.
Hard release followed hard release as his teasing drove her off one
peak after another. Cries of pleasure became husky, almost hoarse, as
she trembled against him. Mindless, barely aware of which way was up,
the Black let herself fall through the stormy sky in which the only
landmark seemed to be the Silver around whom she was entwined. He was
as far as she could see, feel, smell. Without conscious thought Erin
gave herself over to him, unconsciously trusting him to keep her safe.
A muffled snarl finally left the Silver as he allowed Erinya freedom
from the exquisite agony he was inflicting on her. A moment of reeling
followed, then he realised how close to the Keep they were falling.
Surely the Emperor wouldn't want his after the Ball party
crashed...literally...by two of his captains. Areq was rather certain
the Emperor was busy anyway.
Silver wings began to unfurl as he unwound from her, manoeuvred his
body around and caught her from behind. A jolting slow came to their
fall and his wings began making the long strokes required to haul the
pair higher into the sky.
The rocking motion was a new kind of agony for Areq. His hindquarters
were tucked behind hers, which left her scaled hips rubbing against his
fully unsheathed member, it was all he do to not force his way into her
here and now.
A little higher though...it was more than a little difficult to not
grind against her, and he allowed himself that luxury, of thrusting
himself along the juncture of her flesh until they'd reached a safer
altitude.
Gasping for breath, faint tremors running through her body from the
aftershocks that rippled through her, Erin struggled to get her
bearings. The feel of Areq pressing against her wasn't exactly helping
with that, quite the opposite in fact.
With a faint groan she rubbed herself against him. A long obsidian tail
snaked around its silvery counterpart, trailing up the underside to the
base and then dipping between his hindquarters. A husky sound that was
part laugh, part sigh echoed into his head along the Speech. "I said you were a tease before, remember."
Strong, steady wingbeats faltered as the tip of her tail slipped between them and caressed his body. "Only with you...and only because you like it." A slight taint of laughter tinged his sending before it was lost beneath a soft mental sound of pleasure, "Keep that up and I'll never make it."
At this rate, he WAS wondering if he'd last long enough to bring them
to the apex of their upward flight...and decided to chance it.
Ivory teeth suddenly sank into the flesh at her throat, just beneath
her jaws and closed tight enough to slow the flow of blood to her
brain. His own tail jerked hers away from him and to the side, leaving
her open to his advances, then his wings swept down one last time. He
violently thrust within her and let out a resonating cry of pleasure as
her body, still slick and incredibly warm suddenly encased him.
Erin's body convulsed, clenching tightly around him as the intimate
invasion sent shockwaves through sensitive flesh. Primitive instinct
had her twisting her head towards him, dagger-like teeth grazing his
silver-scaled neck before sinking in as their bodies entwined.
Iron-rich blood scented night air already electric from the storm.
Lightning flashes gleamed off obsidian and silver scales alike as the
couple began to fall groundwards.
Areq's choked, shuddering moan vibrated the dark scales of her throat
and his tongue made a long pass across the bleeding wounds. The taste
of her was as rich as her scent and it left him consumed with a savage
need to claim her as his and his alone.
His hindlegs tangled around hers, jerking her closer to him as his back
arched and left him buried even deeper. The friction between them as
her body spasmed around him brought yet another rumbling sound from him
that sounded like an echo of the thunder that rolled in the wake of the
lightning. Areq pressed his throat into her jaws and gasped as they cut
even deeper into the scale and skin beneath, then he began thrusting
into her, his body arched back, then sinuously drove into her again.
The Silver began a hard, rippling motion, a coupling of the likes that
two leggers were unable to achieve without the benefit of such flexible
spines.
There was no thought of making the moment last, of drawing the cries
and pleadings from her and making her beg for yet more release, time
and physics simply wouldn't allow it. Blindly and with one single
result in mind, Areq drove within her time and time again and felt his
body begin to shudder with the release that beckoned to him.
Small ripples began deep in the heart of her body as Areq drove over
and over again into her slick core. The grip he had on her throat was
making her feel dazed, lack of oxygen making her feel light-headed, and
yet somehow heightening the pleasure that was starting to flood her
body. Small ripples become larger convulsions as the Silver's body
shuddered against her, his hips arching into hers, until keening cries
spilled from her jaws, the sound muffled against the scales of his
throat. Mindlessly, the Black trembled in his grasp as release crashed
through her.
The final breaking of any will he had left came with the feel of her
body clenched tight and pulsing around his. Time seemed to grind to a
halt for several precious seconds as jolted into her as their bodies
became one and were caught up in the simultaneous, crushing tides of
orgasmic ecstasy. Almost too late, the Silver realised how quickly the
ground really was approaching and released his hold on her throat with
a snap of jaws and a muffled yelp of alarm. Silver wings spread wide
and began backstroking with power sweeps to at least attempt to break
their fall...
Or was that crash?
The lingerie shop owner was NOT going to be happy...twice in one decade was just too much.
For a long moment afterwards there was silence except for the creak of
broken timbers and the faint whisper of dust settling in the wreckage.
Then an obsidian tail stirred amidst the rubble, a black wing shifting
in a lazy fashion as Erin rolled over slightly.
"Tell me," she enquired in a polite tone, "do you particularly like this shop, or is it that you have something against it?"
"Well..." A rather odd shaped pile of Venice lace, black leather
and assorted stiletto heels began to shift, then seemed to pour off
Areq's silver head as he raised it from the wreckage and snuffled
Erinya's shoulder with warm wuffling sounds, "It's more a...its just...gravity." He nodded slightly, "Yeah...gravity...or would that be grabity?"
He honestly had no idea why he seemed to gravitate toward this
particular shop...it seemed to happen more often than not really, and
of all the times he'd been here, he'd only crashed in twice, including
this time.
"Isn't Fate funny?" He spoke conversationally and casually as his silver tail wound around her hindleg suggestively, "The last time I crashed in here, I'd just jumped you...but entirely different reasons."
From somewhere near the shattered rafters rather large hunk of plaster
fell...and broke neatly on Areq's head with a flat crumbling sound.
"Ow..."
A snort of laughter escaped the Black. "It seems sometimes as if you've been trying to jump me in some manner since the first time we met" she said with a hint of amusement, her head turning to regard him with faceted garnet eyes, "and you always seem to get injured doing it. Perhaps Fate is trying to tell you something?"
Ducking her wedge-shaped head, Erin nuzzled gently at Areq, running her jaw down his throat.
"Yes, well, don't think I won't still be trying to jump you in every
way possible in the future...the very near future might I add..."
There was a slow hissing sound that began, an ominous sound that at
first, a sound Areq thought was Erinya hissing at him for his
arrogance-laced comment.
"Erin...what is that..." He paused to return her nuzzling when he realised it wasn't she at all, "That...hissing sound?"
A sudden explosion that reminded the Silver of cannon fire caused him to yelp and throw one wing over his and Erin's heads...
The body mousse display and flavoured whip creams probably needed a warning sign..."Contents under Pressure"
Chocolate whipped cream, pina colada body mousse and strawberry
flavoured lubricant blasted the pair...and left them looking something
like a Dragon-pretzel-sundae...
As the ringing in her ears died away, Erin peeked out from beneath
Areq's wing, regarding the mess with a resigned expression. Why was she
not surprised that when she and the Silver were in the same place at
the same time chaos followed in their wake?
Bending her head, the Black licked delicately at his shoulder. "Chocolate and strawberry is one thing. Pina colada really doesn't seem to go with the rest of the concoction" she observed in an amused tone. An onyx tail wound around a silver one, the tip trailing slowly upwards to the base. "And as for the previous statement. The important word there is trying. I never said I would make life easy for you." She nipped at the side of his throat.
"Nooo...but it goes GREAT with the pineapple body jelly and the cool whip that wound up right..." An involuntary groan seeped out of him about the time his tongue began exploring the various flavours of Erinya, "Here..."
There was something to be said for a female having a prehensile
tail...he'd figure out what that was later. For now, it was probably a
good idea to clean the mess up...one lick at time.
