Magic: Her mixed blood has created an interesting combination of magical talents in Cordelia. From the Dark Elven aspect of her Tauremornan heritage, she can create dancing lights in shades of purple and green, or will o' the wisps, in order to disorientate and confuse an opponent, as well as the ability to create illusions or glamours to disguise her appearance; these can be of such a high standard as to even fool another of their own race, as well as the eyes and other senses of non-dark elven races. The more 'typical' aspect of her Tauremornan heritage leans towards earth magics. In Cordelia, this takes the form of being able to communicate with animals. Her Tauresule heritage is also inclined towards earth and specialises in a gift for stone that permits her to walk through walls.
 Shapeshifting: Because of her Badb Catha heritage, she can transform into raven form. Through her Tauresule heritage, she can transform into a wolf. Her wolf form is golden brown with paler, cream coloured fur around her muzzle. Her eyes remain their normal blue colour.
Fighting Skills: During her time at Blackthorn Keep, she has been received the same education as the other Keep children, including in the fundamentals of self-defence. Being a female Badb Catha, she has taken part in training sessions with the Ravens and Orsha Une. She has also been taught Tah Kata by Ronyan Nyem and how to use the Dark Elven War Fans by Pellandril Kilana.

Fears on this score proved well-founded when both her father and brother died in subsequent conflict; her mother then joined her at Blackthorn Keep.

- Cordelia’s soul is cornflower blue in colour and in its ground state will often appear to be a mist in form. At the heart of this burns a flame that is the core of the individual’s soul.
