*Personality: Chandra is a shy and gentle person who tends to remain in the background. She is loyal though, and brave when the situation demands it. As a bard she has travelled a great deal and so she has learnt how to defend herself from bandits and other attackers but at heart she is not a fighter.

*Skills and Abilities: Chandra is a competent sorcerer but her ability is generally channelled through her musical skills. It was during a visit to ‘The Misty Rose Bed and Breakfast’ that she discovered that the reason for this is that she is a Dra’kar Sin’ra, or a Dragon Singer. This is an ancient magic bestowed on a few rare individuals by all the races of dragons. Chandra is still learning the true scope of her abilities, but she has already discovered that she can heal even those injuries that no-one else can or disabilities that have been present since birth. She has a rich contralto singing voice and is rarely seen without either her lyre or flute.

*History: An only child, Chandra’s parents were frequent travellers. Her mother, Maeve, was also a bard. Her father, Harkin, was a ranger. Although they often took their daughter with them when she was younger, they felt that as she grew older she ought to remain in the village with her teachers and so they would sometimes travel alone. It was on one of these journeys that they were killed by a rockfall in a mountain pass. Orphaned, Chandra was brought up by the village until she reached adulthood. Despite this she is not bitter. She knows all too well the dangers of travel and what memories she has of her parents are good ones.
Her adult life has not been entirely untroubled. As a result of her Dragonsinger heritage, she was kidnapped by a mage who needed her to retrieve the Orb of Talos, and she has also been targeted by a renegade Alaenari known as a Dreamcatcher who almost managed to kill her. In both instances, the actions of friends managed to save her.

- Being half-Anari, Chandra’s soul looks like a ball of light threaded with copper and forest green strands.
- When using her Dragonsinger abilities Chandra can sound as if she is being accompanied by an otherworldly choir.
- The spoken language of the Tauremornan Elves is a bastardised version of the purer Elven spoken by the Elves of the Aarataure, heavily influenced by the Dark Elven language. The musical elven tongue, similar to Terran Irish, is now ‘marred’ by the harsh clicks and sibilant whispers of the dark elven language.
- Born during the month of Uath, Chandra’s symbol is the Chalice and her birth tree is the Hawthorn according to the Tauremornan zodiac.
