Along with any number of battle scars, Cae has one other marking of note upon his body. This is a ring of black thorns with the rampant dragon in the centre that is located on his right shoulder blade. This is not only a symbol of his personal allegiance to Araxmarr Zavern Sar'da, but also a blood marking that connects all members of the Black Guard to each other and their General, the Emperor Callan Blackthorn.
